EMNet has just launched the latest version of its unique and comprehensive emergency room (ER) locator app, findERnow!
Using the smartphone’s GPS, findERnow can quickly locate the user’s current location and the distance, directions, and current driving time to the closest ER anywhere within the United States. The app also provides information about basic ER characteristics.
We added information about which ERs are recognized geriatric ERs. This newly added information is ideal for families and those who will be traveling. The latest update also includes the latest ER locations and information. You can continue to use findERnow to:
- View an ER’s trauma, stroke, or burn center certification status.
- Toggle on an “EMS View” of the app to classify adult trauma centers or stroke centers as Advanced or Basic.
- Find information on an ER’s pediatric-specific characteristics
